Background The New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) for Masonry Repair & Repointing Services. The goal of this contract is to establish a non-exclusive agreement to provide timely repairs for various state buildings throughout New Hampshire, ensuring compliance with historical preservation standards when applicable. Work Details The successful Vendor will provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, and machinery to complete the Masonry Repair & Repointing Services. Specific services include: - Removal of deteriorated mortar and repointing with matching composition. - Brick, stone, and cast stone replacement or repair. - Granite and concrete stair repair and stabilization. - Cleaning and preparation of masonry surfaces. - Application of breathable sealants or water repellents. - Compliance with historic preservation standards. The Vendor shall submit quotes for individual projects at rates established in the contract and work on a Time and Materials basis for emergency projects. All materials will be invoiced at a markup not exceeding 10% over contractor’s cost. Invoices must include detailed descriptions of the work performed, time frames, original quotes, and documentation such as photographs. Period of Performance The contract term will commence on March 1, 2026, or upon approval by the Governor and Executive Council, lasting through February 28, 2031. The contract may be extended for an additional two years upon mutual agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations throughout New Hampshire including state facilities in Concord and other designated sites as listed in the solicitation. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be duly registered to conduct business in New Hampshire and have a completed Vendor Application Package on file. They must also provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance coverage prior to performing any services. Vendors are required to have a minimum of three years of experience in Masonry & Repointing Services and must provide references from previous clients.
