Background Multnomah County is seeking contractors to provide on-call painting services for both interior and exterior applications across a variety of commercial properties. The County's mission includes maintaining its extensive portfolio of over 3.4 million square feet of buildings, which serve diverse functions such as health facilities, detention centers, libraries, shelters, offices, fleet shops, and courthouses. The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient painting services as needed by the County. Work Details The contractor will provide on-call interior and/or exterior painting services for various commercial properties. Services include: - Interior Painting: Bidders may apply specifically for interior painting services. - Exterior Painting: Bidders may apply specifically for exterior painting services. Contractors can bid for either or both categories but must complete all items within the applicable category. All work will be performed on an as-needed basis without guarantees of minimum work volume. Period of Performance The contract term is set for five (5) years from the date of initial execution unless terminated earlier. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations throughout Multnomah County, Oregon. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be legal entities registered to do business in the State of Oregon. They are encouraged to utilize energy-efficient tools and include diverse suppliers in their business practices. Compliance with prevailing wage laws is required, and contractors must obtain clearance for providing services in facilities occupied by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office or Department of Community Justice.
