Background Deschutes County, a political subdivision of the State of Oregon, is seeking to secure one or more contractors to provide primary but non-exclusive, cost-effective and quality printing services for its departments. The County serves a local population of approximately 200,000 residents with a staff of around 1,300 employees. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to execute a contract with certified agencies or individuals capable of providing professional print services including layout, graphic design, and review. Work Details The successful vendor will supply printing services on an as-needed basis, assisting County staff with layout, graphic design, review, and other professional print services to produce quality documents, forms, and presentation materials. Specific deliverables include: - Business stationery: business cards, letterhead, envelopes, and notepads - Brochures, flyers, and forms - Booklets and manuals - High volume and specialty copying including large document copies. The vendor must be located in close proximity to County departments to ensure timely service. Period of Performance The contract is estimated to begin on or about May 1, 2026, and terminate on April 30, 2027. There are options for four additional one-year extensions subject to County approval. Place of Performance Services will be required at various Deschutes County facilities including locations in Bend (e.g., Downtown Bend Campus), Redmond, Sisters, and La Pine. Bidder Requirements Proposers must demonstrate capabilities in providing the required services and may need to carry insurance as outlined in Exhibit A of the RFP. It is preferred that proposers have printing sites located throughout Deschutes County. Proposals must include evidence of up-to-date business liability insurance.
