Background The Ouachita National Forest, under the USDA Forest Service, is soliciting miscellaneous building construction services to support its mission of maintaining and improving forest facilities. The goal of this contract is to execute various construction tasks that enhance the infrastructure within the forest area, ensuring safety and functionality for visitors and staff. Work Details The contract includes multiple construction packages: 1. **Mount Ida Seed Orchard Roof Replacement**: Replacement of approximately 810 square feet of roofing, including all necessary materials and labor. 2. **Womble Ranger Office Repairs**: Tasks include replacing a pergola beam, removing and replacing balusters (5 units), joist hangers (51 units), siding (57 square feet), fascia (12 square feet), door jamb trim (14 linear feet), and installing flashing (170 linear feet). 3. **Cedar Lake 2025 Sanitary Sewer System**: This package involves mobilization, clearing and grubbing (0.5 acres), septic tank installation (2000 gallons), manhole modifications, and piping installation (4” piping - 110 LF; 6” piping - 150 LF). 4. **Womble Work Center Valve Replacement**: Replacement of two four-inch gate valves with all necessary materials, labor, and equipment. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will be from March 9, 2026, to June 9, 2026. Place of Performance All work will be performed at various locations within the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas, specifically in Montgomery County and McCurtain County.
