Background The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA), is soliciting sealed responses for the provision of Fish Feed. The primary customer for this fish feed is the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, which relies on these supplies to support its operations. Work Details The contract requires the supply of Skretting ORI-One rotifer diet and enrichment or an approved equivalent. The specifications include: - Contents: Algae-based with moisture at 5%, protein at 56%, oil at 17%, N-3 Highly Unsaturated Fatty Acids (HUFA) at 37 mg/g dry weight, and DHA and EPA greater than 5%. - Expiration date must not be less than three months from delivery. - Packaging must be in 1.5kg food-grade foil-lined bags or pouches. - Estimated quantity is 300 bags, totaling approximately 450 kg during the initial contract term, with orders placed as needed. Bidder Requirements Respondents must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation. This includes commercial general liability coverage with a minimum limit of $1 million per occurrence and $1 million aggregate. Additionally, any subcontractors must meet the same insurance requirements. Respondents are also required to submit a signed Execution of Response form and complete a Mandatory Price Sheet.
