Background The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is issuing this solicitation to establish a term contract for the furnishing and delivery of various aggregate materials to the Martin County Maintenance location. This contract aims to support NCDOT's mission of maintaining and constructing roads, bridges, and other surfaces across the state, particularly for weather-related projects. Work Details The contractor will provide the following aggregate materials: 1. 10,000 tons of Aggregate, ABC (Granite) 2. 2,000 tons of Stone - Class A 3. 2,000 tons of Stone - Class B (Granite) 4. 2,000 tons of Aggregate, No 6M. All materials must conform to the specifications outlined in sections 1005, 1008, 1010, and 1012 of the NCDOT Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures. Delivery is required Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to Martin County Maintenance at 1740 Prison Camp Road, Williamston NC 27892 within twenty (20) consecutive calendar days after receipt of order. Period of Performance The initial term of the contract is one (1) year from the date of final contract execution, with options for extension upon mutual agreement. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the Martin County Maintenance location in Williamston, North Carolina. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and comply with all applicable laws regarding business operations in North Carolina. Vendors are also required to complete various attachments including HUB Supplemental Vendor Information and Certification of Financial Condition. The vendor must demonstrate financial stability and may not subcontract any portion of work without prior written consent from the State.
