The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to execute a contract with a qualified agency or individual certified to provide these services. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services at the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office. This includes cleaning offices, restrooms, common areas, and other facilities as specified in the Statement of Work (Exhibit B). Specific tasks may include dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring that all areas are maintained in a clean and orderly condition. The contractor must also comply with all safety regulations and maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information encountered during service. Period of Performance The contract is estimated to begin on or about July 1, 2026, and terminate on June 30, 2028. There is an option for five additional one-year extensions subject to county approval. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office located at 1300 NW Wall St., Bend, Oregon 97703. Bidder Requirements Proposers must furnish current insurance certificates as outlined in Exhibit A of the RFP. They must also provide evidence of up-to-date business liability insurance and relevant certifications. Additionally, all personnel assigned to perform services must pass a thorough background check conducted by the Sheriff’s Office.
