Clemson University seeks an experienced supplier(s) to provide supplemental landscaping services as outlined in the attached Specifications or Scope of Work under the "Attachments" section. All submissions must be made online. No red lines to the contract will be accepted during the submission process. If there are terms you cannot agree to or wish to have changed. In that case, you must request that by submitting a question or request for modification to the scope to the Procurement Officer during the Deadlines for Question process, and Clemson will consider changes. However, to ensure all offerors offer the same scope, red lines or caveats included in your submission may make your offer non-responsive and unable to be considered. Background Clemson University is seeking experienced suppliers to provide supplemental landscaping services for various off-campus locations. The goal of this contract is to establish a comprehensive landscaping services agreement that covers multiple locations throughout the upstate, ensuring effective coverage and service quality across all areas. This initiative aims to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the university's grounds. Work Details The work will be divided into three lots: - Lot A: Research Park Locations - Lot B: Pendleton Locations - Lot C: College of Veterinary Medicine. Services include but are not limited to: mowing turf, treating weeds in mulch areas, mechanically edging beds, blowing or vacuuming paved areas, inspecting catch basins, pruning ornamental plants, snow and ice removal, and maintaining chemical treatment protocols. Specific locations include: - Lot A: Computer Center, Rich Lab, Rust Lab, AMRL, Library Depot - Lot B: Apparel Research/Clemson Online and SC Water Resource Center - Lot C: Multiple sites within the College of Veterinary Medicine. Each lot has specific service frequencies outlined in the Price Schedule. Period of Performance The initial term of this agreement shall be one year from the effective date stated on the award document. The contract may automatically renew for up to four additional one-year periods unless Clemson University provides notice not to renew at least ninety days prior to the renewal date. Place of Performance Services will primarily occur in Clemson, Anderson, and Pendleton areas. Specific addresses include: - 340 Computer Court Anderson, SC 29625 - 500 Lebanon Rd. Pendleton, SC 29670 - Various sites within the College of Veterinary Medicine located in Pendleton. Bidder Requirements Bidders must submit a technical proposal that includes company overview, experience and qualifications, staffing plan, technical approach, equipment and materials available for use under this contract. They must also comply with all insurance coverage requirements prior to performance. Additionally, bidders must register with Clemson University's online bidding system before submitting proposals.
