Background The National Park Service (NPS) operates numerous buildings and facilities in Stehekin, Washington, which utilize propane for heating and cooking. This solicitation aims to establish an indefinite delivery requirements contract for the supply of propane over a period of up to five years, consisting of a base year plus four option years. The total contract price is anticipated to be less than $150,000, with an estimated annual delivery quantity ranging from 8,000 to 13,000 gallons. The government retains the right to unilaterally exercise option years by modifying the purchase order resulting from this RFQ. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for delivering liquid propane gas (LPG) to specified tanks in the Stehekin valley. The work includes providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, transportation, and equipment necessary for effective supply and delivery. The specific tanks to be filled include: - High Bridge cabin (250 gallons) - Yurts (125 gallons) - Leaf (500 gallons) - Russel (500 gallons) - Simmerman (500 gallons) - New Castle (1,000 gallons) - Boulder (1,000 gallons) - Wilsey (500 gallons) - Imus (500 gallons) - Hilton/Fire Cache (500 gallons) - Buckner (500 gallons) - Robertson (500 gallons) - Pickens (500 gallons) - Kiethly (500 gallons) - Castle (500 gallons). Additionally, up to five other houses may be added based on workforce needs. Delivery locations are within twelve miles of the boat/barge landing.
