Background The contract is issued by NAVSUP WSS (Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support) with the goal of painting and restoring static display aircraft. The agency's mission includes maintaining and supporting naval aviation assets, ensuring they are preserved for public display and historical significance. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to paint and restore one SH-60B Seahawk Aircraft, one A-1 Skyraider, one AH-1Z Viper, and one MQ-8 Firescout at NAVSUP WSS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The work includes: - Removal of all existing paint down to bare metal, including insignias and logos from the static displays. - Paint restoration and minor aesthetic repairs on each aircraft according to Federal Standard 595 Color Code/Numbers. - Cleanup of debris and hazardous materials resulting from the work. - Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding safety and environmental standards. - Creation of safe working conditions with necessary safety precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE). - Daily cleanup of the site with removal of all generated debris off station; contractors are not permitted to use government dumpsters for disposal. - Control of dust during demolition to prevent nuisance conditions. - Erection of a barrier or tent to contain paint products within the worksite. - Final inspection by NAVSUP WSS upon completion of work before invoice submission. Period of Performance The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the award date. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Naval Support Activity, 700 Robbins Avenue, Building 1, Main Entrance, North Side (Courtyard Area), Philadelphia, PA 19111.
