Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this solicitation for the upfitting of a 2025 Ford F150 Police Responder vehicle. The purpose of this contract is to enhance the vehicle's capabilities for law enforcement purposes, ensuring it meets specific operational requirements set forth by the BLM Lakeview District Office. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Wiring System: Install a modular universal power distribution center to connect emergency warning systems, radio communication, and auxiliary components with battery protection. 2. Communications: - Install one Bendix King mobile radio and one Motorola APX mobile radio, including necessary wiring harnesses and antennas as specified by BLM representatives. - Install a contractor-furnished WeBoost cellular signal booster. - Install a government-furnished Semtech XR60 router with roof-mounted antenna. 3. Lighting and Siren Control: - Install a Whelen CenCom Core control unit with siren and light controls, including audible alerts and programmable settings per BLM specifications. - Install two Whelen SA315P siren speakers concealed behind the grill area with various control features. 4. Interior Law Enforcement Equipment: - Install a Setina Transportation Max system for secure transport of detainees, including window guards and firearm locks/mounts for officer safety. 5. Exterior Law Enforcement Marking: Apply government-furnished decals according to BLM specifications. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from February 25, 2026, to October 23, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be conducted at the BLM Lakeview District Office located at 1301 South G Street, Lakeview, OR 97630.
