Work Details The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, taxes, fuel, and any other necessary items to accomplish grounds mowing services as specified. This includes: - Mowing and weed eating every fourteen (14) days (totaling sixteen times during the contract period). - All mowing equipment must have sharp blades to ensure clean cuts without tearing grass. - Grass must be mowed to a maximum height of three (3) inches. - Trimming around structures, trees, poles, tables, signs, fences, parking lot islands, curbs, and shrub beds must be done concurrently with mowing. - Areas must be free of clumped grass and debris before mowing. - Mowing should not discharge clippings onto paved areas or into treatment tanks. - Trash and litter removal from the mowing area is required prior to service. Period of Performance The contract will be for one (1) year with two (2) one-year options to renew based on mutual agreement between the City and the contractor. The work is expected to commence around mid to late April 2026. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various sewage treatment plants and lift stations located throughout Wichita, Kansas.
