Background The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking contractors to provide electrical services for Region 4. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the electrical systems within HHSC facilities are maintained and repaired as needed to support the agency's mission of providing health and human services to Texans. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing a range of electrical services, including but not limited to: - Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems; - Troubleshooting electrical issues; - Ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations; - Responding to emergency service requests. Specific tasks may include replacing light fixtures, wiring upgrades, circuit repairs, and installation of new electrical equipment as required by HHSC facilities. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the date of award, with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various HHSC facilities located within Region 4, which includes areas such as Houston, Beaumont, and surrounding counties. Bidder Requirements Bidders must possess valid licenses for electrical work in the state of Texas. Additionally, bidders should demonstrate experience in providing similar services to government or large commercial clients. Proof of insurance coverage is also required.
