Background The National Museum of the United States Army (NMUSA) is seeking a contractor to provide custodial and artifact cleaning services. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and safe environment for visitors while promoting a positive experience and ensuring the safety of NMUSA employees, volunteers, and contractor staff. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, supplies, and non-personal services to perform these tasks 24 hours a day as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work Details The contractor shall perform custodial, disinfection, and artifact cleaning services as defined in the PWS. Key tasks include: 1. Providing all personnel and equipment necessary for custodial services; 2. Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations; 3. Implementing a Quality Control Plan to maintain service standards; 4. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of floors; 5. Safely disposing of sharps medical waste; 6. Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces every two hours; 7. Preparing a bleach solution for disinfection while adhering to specific guidelines regarding its use; 8. Maintaining records of all chemicals used along with Safety Data Sheets (SDS); 9. Completing training requirements related to security and anti-terrorism measures. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the National Museum of the United States Army.
