Background The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is issuing a sole-source solicitation for maintenance services. The goal of the contract is to provide onsite emergency repair, telephone technical support, and preventive maintenance for twelve Inside Diameter/Outside Diameter (ID/OD) recuperator resistance seam welders located at Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Onsite emergency repair services for twelve ID/OD welders. 2. Telephone technical support for troubleshooting and guidance on equipment issues. 3. Preventive maintenance services to ensure the welders are operating efficiently and effectively. The specific equipment requiring support includes: - Six welders located in Building 133 - Two upgraded Sciaky ID/OD GMRX50 welders (Machines 11 and 12) located in Building 134 - Four legacy Sciaky ID/OD GMRX50 welders (Machines 6425, 6426, 6429, and 64210) located in Building 134. Period of Performance The contract will have a one-year base period starting from the date of award, with four additional one-year option periods.
