Background The U.S. Coast Guard is issuing this contract for the replacement of bathroom vanities at Air Station Elizabeth City, located at Building 54, 1664 Weeksville Rd, Elizabeth City, NC 27909. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities used by personnel at the base by providing updated and functional bathroom amenities. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, parts, transportation, and tools necessary to remove twelve (12) existing bathroom vanities and replace them with twelve (12) new like-in-kind bathroom vanities. This includes: - Removal and replacement of the vanity, sink, fixtures, mirror, light enclosure, light fixture, and associated plumbing (back to building plumbing connection) for each vanity. - Demolition of the toiletries cabinet located next to each vanity; however, the toiletries cabinet will not be replaced. - The work will be performed in Building 54 (Ready Crew Berthing). All materials must be delivered in original unopened packages and stored according to manufacturer recommendations. The Contractor must ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards during the project. Period of Performance The work must be completed within 30 workdays from notification to proceed and acceptance of submittals. The Contractor must mobilize to the site within 10 workdays after receiving notification.
