Background The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the provision of electrical supplies. The goal of this contract is to ensure that MNPS has access to necessary parts, materials, and equipment for various electrical systems and equipment used within the school district. Work Details The contractor will provide parts, materials, and equipment on an as-needed basis for electrical needs within MNPS. This includes but is not limited to: - breaker boxes - switch gears - motors - ballasts - emergency lighting - exit lighting - emergency exit lighting - relays - contactors - switches - generators - other related electrical supplies. All goods and services will be requested through Purchase Orders issued by MNPS. Period of Performance The contract term will begin on a date specified in the contract and may extend up to sixty (60) months with written amendments executed by all parties. Place of Performance The geographic location for performance of this contract will be within the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools district. Bidder Requirements Contractors must have all necessary licenses and certifications to perform under this contract. They are required to maintain specific insurance coverage including: - General Liability Insurance ($1 million) - Automobile Liability Insurance ($1 million) - Professional Liability Insurance ($1 million) Contractors must also comply with MNPS's travel procedures for any travel-related expenses incurred during service performance.
