Background The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking proposals for fire services at Camp Grayling National All Domain Warfare Center (NADWC). The goal is to provide comprehensive fire and emergency response services, including structural and vehicle fire response, aircraft rescue and firefighting, emergency medical services, and HAZMAT/CBRN response. This service is essential until Camp Grayling NADWC establishes its own firefighting company. The contract will be executed by a political subdivision of the state of Michigan. Work Details The contractor will provide the following services: - Structural and Vehicle Fire Response - Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) - Emergency Medical Services (EMS) - Water and Technical Rescue - HAZMAT/CBRN response Services must comply with the Department of Defense Fire and Emergency Services Program DoDI 6055.06 and local protocols. Specific tasks include: - Conducting annual fire inspections under supervision of a licensed Fire Inspector. - Providing certified personnel for all emergency responses. - Conducting fire drills and providing after-action reports. - Maintaining mutual aid agreements with adjacent municipalities for enhanced capabilities. - Providing a licensed ambulance at no additional cost during the service period. - Reporting on incidents within 24 hours of occurrence, including cause determination for fires.
