The work to be performed by the General Contractor consist of but is not limited to the following major items: EROSION CONTROL BMP s including mulch, tree save fence, temporary grassing, inlet sediment trap, silt fence, and sodding. TRAFFIC CONTROL during all stages, allowing traffic thru at all times. DEMOLITION including tree removal, clearing and grubbing. SITE WORK, EARTH WORK including grading and excavation. CONCRETE PAVING including remove and replace concrete curb & gutter, sidewalks, and driveways. STORM DRAIN STRUCTURES including storm sewer structures. STORM DRAIN PIPE including RCP (type 3), exacavation, bedding, compaction, and dewatering. PAVING, PAVEMENT STRIPING, SIGNAGE, TRAFFIC LOOPS. PEDESTRIAN LIGHT POLES; HANDRAILS; FIRE HYDRANT. Re-grout all exist. structures & site clearing. The equipment and materials to be furnished by the Contractor will be installed at the locations shown on the Drawings and as described in the respective section of these specifications. All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation, shall govern the construction of this project. Work to be completed during night time. Operations to start 9 PM and finish by 5 AM during bussiness days.

They should possess suitable financial means to meet obligations related to the work. Bidders must provide proof of at least three contracts similar in nature to this project with a minimum original contract price of $500,000 each within the past five years. A valid Underground Utility Contractor’s license or General Contractor license is required. Compliance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 regarding employment verification is mandatory.
