Summary (Newest Update)

Background Argonne National Laboratory, operated by UChicago Argonne, LLC under a prime contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is seeking to assess options for a future Enterprise Compliance Management System (ECMS) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) capability. The goal of this contract is to develop a modernized compliance management vision that integrates various compliance processes and enhances oversight while positioning Argonne for future expansion into broader governance and enterprise risk management capabilities. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: 1. Review Argonne’s Current State: Assess existing tools and processes for tracking federal regulations, contract clauses, DOE Directives, and internal policies; evaluate document and records management practices; identify gaps and inefficiencies in current applications. 2. Review Requirements and Stakeholder Alignment: Validate existing functional requirements and stakeholder assessments; engage stakeholders minimally to confirm integration assumptions; refine requirements for technology selection and phased implementation. 3. Evaluate leading commercial products for managing compliance processes related to records, documents, workflows, compliance, and risk; recommend the best-fit solution based on organizational needs; develop an implementation roadmap ensuring integration with existing applications. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Argonne National Laboratory located at 9700 South Cass Avenue, Bldg. 201, Lemont, IL 60439.
