Background The solicitation is issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation, specifically the Federal Highway Administration's Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD). The purpose of this contract is to undertake an extensive IT cabling and network infrastructure upgrade at their facility located in Vancouver, Washington. This project aims to enhance the electrical service to various Telecommunications Rooms (TRs) that support critical network equipment. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for installing dedicated UPS-backed electrical circuits from Panel UPS1A to multiple Telecommunications Rooms (NOC, Alaska TR, Denali TR, Annex TR). This includes all necessary breakers, cabling supports, terminations, receptacle installations, labeling, testing, and compliance with facility bonding requirements. Each TR will receive two new 30A/230V circuits with twist-lock L6-30R receptacles. Specific tasks include: 1. Site Survey & Planning: Verify available breaker space and routing feasibility. 2. Conduit Installation: Install MC cable from Panel UPS1A to each TR as a dedicated continuous run. 3. Circuit Wiring & Breakers: Provide and install two-pole 30A breakers for each TR. 4. Receptacle Installation: Install twist-lock L6-30R receptacles at designated locations. 5. Grounding & Bonding: Install bonding conductors and verify continuity. 6.
