This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine small business sources capable of providing Special Needs Transportation services per this notice under NAICS 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). Small business size standard is $34 million. Product Service Code (PSC) is J065 (Maintenance, Repair, Rebuild of Equipment ). BACKGROUND: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 10: MARKET RESEARCH. This notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Federal Government to contract for any service at this time. Further, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23/ Supply Services Team 3 is not at this time seeking offers, and will not accept unsolicited offers. Work Details The contract involves providing a comprehensive Alertus Emergency Notification System (ENS) for the Central Iowa VA Health Care System's mental health unit. Key tasks include: - Installation and implementation of the Alertus ENS, enhancing emergency communication capabilities. - Licensing and support agreement valid for the contract duration, ensuring all components are updated and technical support is available. - Core alarm notification system that integrates with existing VA systems, capable of sending alerts across multiple platforms including text, audio, and visual alerts. - Professional on-site implementation services including site survey, system design, installation, configuration, quality control checks, functional testing, and user training. - Maintenance services including NFPA 72-compliant testing and inspection annually, two emergency service visits per year, extended warranty coverage for all components, and onsite maintenance as an annual recurring cost. - Provision of mobile Wi-Fi enabled panic buttons (minimum 10) and mounted duress buttons in specified locations to send immediate alerts to predetermined personnel.
