Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a contract for the provision and delivery of a Grout Plant to the Meldahl Locks and Dam. The mission of this contract is to ensure that the necessary equipment is supplied to support operations at the facility, enhancing their capabilities in construction and maintenance tasks. Work Details The Contractor shall furnish and deliver one Grout Plant with the following specifications: - Skid Mounted, Hydraulic Powered - 12 gallons per minute (gpm), 1200 psi - Weight: 600 lbs - Dimensions: 72” x 31” x 46” - 45-gallon mix tank - 12-gallon holding hopper - Progressing cavity grout pump - High Strength Aluminum alloy construction - Hinged cleanout port on the suction housing - Mixer and pump centrally located controls with variable speed control - Grout hose with disconnect fittings, length: 50 feet (Quantity: 2) - Automatic water meters to measure water for each batch - Diaphragm protected pressure gauge. Additionally, prior to ordering, catalog cutsheets must be provided for Government approval. The equipment must be new and meet all specified requirements.
