Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada State Office is issuing a solicitation for a Fire Prevention Campaign aimed at reducing human-caused wildfires in Nevada. The campaign seeks to deliver engaging fire prevention messages to the public, particularly targeting outdoor enthusiasts and promoting recruitment for seasonal firefighting positions. The goal is to increase awareness about wildfire prevention and encourage responsible recreation in public lands. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive advertising campaign that includes: 1. Creating scripts and recording video Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube on topics such as target shooting safety, OHV safety, roadside fire safety, debris burning, trailer towing, and recruitment for wildland firefighters. 2. Ensuring all content is optimized for social media with specific technical requirements such as aspect ratios and resolutions. 3. Collaborating with BLM to secure ad placements across multiple media platforms including streaming radio/TV, billboards, social media, gas pumps, and targeting rural areas and gateways to public lands. 4. Branding efforts will focus on NevadaFireInfo.org as the primary source for fire information. Period of Performance March 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026 Place of Performance Advertising will take place across various locations in Nevada including Carson City, Reno, Las Vegas, Ely, Winnemucca, Battle Mountain, Mesquite, Moapa, Elko, Northern Eureka and Northern Lander Counties.
