Background Gaylord Community Schools is seeking proposals for the installation of electronic locks as part of their ongoing security enhancements. Work Details The contractor will provide the sale, delivery, and installation of electronic door locks at Gaylord High School and the Gaylord Athletic Field. Specific tasks include: - Installation of wireless access control locks at 163 doors in Gaylord High School and 12 doors/gates at the Athletic Field. - Use of Avigilon Mercury control boards, LifeSafety Power managed power enclosures, HID Signo series readers, and ASSA ABLOY mechanical locking hardware systems. - Installation must comply with existing standards, including using plenum-rated cables for ceiling installations. - Development of a visual lockdown signal system to alert against unauthorized entry. - Coordination with local contractors for installation assistance if needed. - Provision of maintenance services for one year post-installation, including guaranteed hourly rates and travel costs. Contractors must be headquartered in Michigan and pass background checks for all technicians/installers. Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act is required, along with completion of Familial Disclosure Statements.
