Background The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) is seeking to increase the contract ceiling for the Ocean Infrastructure Support Services (OISS) contract awarded to Oceanetics, Inc. This action is necessary to ensure the Navy's capability to maintain and improve undersea infrastructure, which is critical for national security and operational effectiveness. Work Details The OISS contract encompasses engineering and technical support solutions for various projects within NAVFAC EXWC's Oceans Programs. Key services include: providing vessels and vessel services, engineering services, logistical support, facility support, environmental support, and equipment. Work will occur in marine and nearshore environments across all water depths. For FY26, twenty projects are planned with an estimated total value of $49 million. Notable project highlights include offshore equipment recovery, cable route planner conversion, system development and hardware prototyping, vessel and custodian support, logistic depot operations, and vessel repair.
