The contractor shall clear snow and ice from all paved surfaces, including but not limited to roadways, parking areas, and walkways as designated by the government representative in priority order. Snow shall be plowed into designated storage areas set by the government representative and shall not obstruct access to fire hydrants, buildings, or other critical infrastructure. The contractor should be careful not to damage any signs, signposts, speed bumps, parking blocks or vehicles around the work area. Once a designated area is cleared the contractor shall report it to the government representative for surveillance and to have the government put down deicing material as necessary. The contractor shall provide and maintain a fleet of vehicles and equipment sufficient to meet the requirements of this PWS. All vehicles shall be clearly marked with the contractors company name. Contractor has eight hours to respond to a snow/ice removal request by the government representative once the snow/ice has stopped falling. This is all done in accordance with the PWS. Background This solicitation is issued by the Little Rock Air Force Base, specifically the 19th Contracting Squadron. The mission of the agency is to provide support and services to ensure operational readiness. The goal of this contract is to secure snow and ice removal services to maintain safety and accessibility on paved surfaces during winter weather events. Work Details The contractor shall clear snow and ice from all paved surfaces, including but not limited to roadways, parking areas, and walkways as designated by the government representative in priority order. The contractor must take care not to damage any signs, signposts, speed bumps, parking blocks, or vehicles around the work area. The contractor is required to provide and maintain a fleet of vehicles and equipment sufficient to meet the requirements of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). All vehicles must be clearly marked with the contractor's company name. The contractor has eight hours to respond to a snow/ice removal request from the government representative once snowfall has ceased. Period of Performance From January 30, 2026, to May 1, 2026.
