Background The Nevada Army National Guard, through its Office of Installations and Environment, is issuing a solicitation for the CSMS Restroom Domestic Hot Water System Upgrades. Work Details The contractor will perform plumbing upgrades including: 1) Re-piping the domestic hot water system serving the restrooms to increase pipe size for proper shower service; 2) Installing balancing valves on recirculation circuits; 3) Furnishing and installing a domestic hot water expansion tank; 4) Replacing the strainer and check valve in the custodial closet; 5) Replacing shower cartridges/valves to regulate temperature and reduce pressure loss; 6) Selectively demolishing walls beneath the women’s restroom sink to evaluate and repair vent piping; 7) Performing build-back work including replacement of tiles, ceilings, drywall, and fixtures; 8) Providing complete as-built drawings reflecting all work performed. Place of Performance Combined Support Maintenance Shop 2, 6520 N Range Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89115. Bidder Requirements Vendors must have a valid government-issued ID for access to National Guard sites. They are required to have their vehicles legally registered and insured. Vendors with employees who have felonies or warrants may be denied access. A Nevada National Guard Annex H (Background Check) form must be submitted for all personnel working on site. Vendors must provide proof of liability and worker’s compensation insurance naming the Office of the Military as additionally insured. Additionally, they must possess a State of Nevada Business License, be registered with the State of Nevada Controllers Office, and utilize electronic transfer for payment.
