Background

The Army Contracting Command - NJ intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for Snow and Ice Removal Services. This contract supports the mission of the 99th Readiness Division (RD) to maintain operational readiness by ensuring safe and accessible facilities during winter weather conditions. Work Details: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel, and other items necessary for snow and ice removal services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The objective is to provide a clean workplace free of snow and ice. Services include: - Snow and ice removal from parking areas, driveways, gates, sidewalks, pathways, catch basins, hydrants, dumpsters, and HVAC units. - The contractor must clear all parking spaces to bare pavement with no trailing windrows left behind. - The contractor is required to take 'before and after' time-stamped pictures of serviced areas for verification of services performed. - Quality control measures must be maintained to ensure compliance with contract requirements. - The contractor shall not commence work without notification from the COR/RFOS and must begin operations within two hours of such notification. Period of Performance: The period of performance is for 12 months from the effective date of award with four additional 12-month option periods. Place of Performance: Services will be performed at locations specified on the site map provided in the solicitation.
