Both the RRC services for in-house RRC beds and the Home Confinement services for home confinement placements shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work (SOW) entitled, "Residential Reentry Center, March 2022 SOW". The Home Confinement requirement will consist of a guaranteed minimum of 9 placements and a maximum 18 placements to include both males and females for the Base Period and each of the Four One-year Option Periods. The Home Confinement radius will be within 200 miles of RRC. The Government reserves the right to potentially make an award which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Government. Background The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking contractors capable of providing Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services and Home Confinement services for male and female Federal offenders in Albany, New York. The goal of this contract is to establish a comprehensive community-based RRC that aligns with the BOP's mission to protect society by confining individuals in controlled environments that are safe, humane, and cost-efficient while providing self-improvement opportunities for inmates transitioning back into the community. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for managing and operating an RRC that provides a guaranteed minimum of 21 beds (21 male beds and 0 female beds) with a maximum of 42 beds (36 male beds and 6 female beds) during the One-year Base Period and each of the Four One-year Option Periods.
