Work Details

The contractor is required to perform the following tasks: 1. Remove steel shelving units and associated fire suppression piping and electrical systems from Building 126. 2. Evaluate the existing fire suppression system after the removal of the shelving zone, making necessary modifications to ensure compliance with NFPA, state, and local codes. 3. Provide stamped engineered drawings from a licensed fire suppression engineer reflecting any changes made to the system. 4. Document existing conditions and consult with a fire suppression engineer for compliance evaluation. 5. Supply all necessary labor, tools, equipment, parts, and materials for installation/modification of the fire suppression system according to engineered drawings. 6. Submit various required documents including Safety Data Sheets for hazardous materials, Asbestos Notification Acknowledgement Record, Lockout/Tagout Notification Acknowledgement Record, Project Schedule, Contractor Safety Plan, and solid waste reporting logs.

Period of Performance

The contractor must commence work within 7 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed and complete all work within 90 calendar days thereafter.
