Background The West Virginia Department of Transportation, specifically the Division of Highways District 10, is seeking to establish an open-end contract for Elevator Maintenance services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of elevators at various facilities within the district, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices. Work Details The contractor will provide both Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance services for elevators as outlined in the specifications. Preventive Maintenance includes regularly scheduled activities designed to prevent malfunctions, while Corrective Maintenance addresses any issues that arise unexpectedly. The total payments under this contract will not exceed $500,000, covering all initial terms, renewals, delivery orders, and change orders. Services must be performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards at all listed facilities. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and will continue until the maximum payment limit of $500,000 is reached or until terminated by either party as per the terms outlined in the contract. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various facilities within West Virginia Division of Highways District 10 as specified in Exhibit B of the solicitation. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be registered with the West Virginia Purchasing Division and compliant with state regulations including those from WVSOS, Tax Department, Workers' Compensation, and Unemployment Insurance. Additionally, vendors must submit a bid electronically through wvOASIS or via other specified methods such as hand delivery or fax.
