Background The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, Measurement Science and Engineering Department is responsible for Metrology, Test, and Monitoring Systems Assessment supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program. The goal of this contract is to procure new mass comparators with external draft shields to enable Navy Calibration Laboratories to perform in-house calibration of Dead Weight Tester (DWT) weight sets, thereby improving operational readiness, reducing downtime, and eliminating costly shipping expenses. Work Details The contract involves the procurement of the following items: - Mass Comparator with External Draft Shield: 8 Each - Capacity: 2 kilograms - Readability: 0.1 milligrams (mg) - Repeatability: Less than or equal to 0.25 mg - Settling Time of reading: 5 seconds - Linearity: +/- 1 mg - Adjustment: Internal - Interfaces: USB and/or RS232 - Digital Display - Software: Mass calibration software - Weighing Pan Size (minimum): 5.5 inches diameter or 5.5" x 5.5" - Weighing Height (minimum): 10" height - Draft Shield Access: Minimum of three access locations for loading/unloading. - External Draft Shield: 8 Each - Marble Tables: 8 Each - Dimensions: 22" - 24" (Depth) x 34" - 36" (Width) x 30" - 32" (Height) - Weight: 600 - 800 pounds. - Material: Marble or granite Place of Performance The products will be delivered to NAVSEA Navy Calibration Laboratories.
