Background The University of South Carolina (USC) is seeking the services of civil and surveying engineering firms to support its mission by providing essential engineering services. The goal of this contract is to enhance the university's infrastructure through professional civil engineering and surveying services across its campuses. Work Details The selected firms will provide the following services: - Topographic and boundary surveying - Utility location services - Civil engineering design and consultation - Construction cost estimating and observation - Civil feasibility studies Firms may also need to coordinate with other university consultants such as architects, engineers, inspection and testing firms, and LEED consultants as required for project completion. Experience with state agencies and on-call or as-needed service provision is preferred. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of 2 years. Place of Performance Services will be provided at the University of South Carolina Columbia campus and other system campuses across the state. Bidder Requirements Firms must be properly licensed in accordance with Title 40 of the SC Code of Laws at the time of resume submission. Additionally, firms are required to submit a certification indicating whether they are residents of South Carolina. Small and Minority Business participation is strongly encouraged.
