Background The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is seeking to hire a contractor to provide potable water solutions, specifically the installation of treatment systems for PFAS impacted private water supply wells. Insurance requirements include liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, workers compensation, and environmental/pollution liability among others. Vendors must also comply with MBE/WBE participation requirements as part of their proposal.
