Background The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is seeking to hire a contractor to provide potable water solutions, specifically the installation of treatment systems for PFAS impacted private water supply wells. This initiative is part of the Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Communities (EC-SDC) Grant aimed at addressing environmental concerns in vulnerable communities. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the installation of treatment systems designed to mitigate PFAS contamination in private water supply wells. The scope includes all necessary labor, materials, and equipment required for the successful implementation of these treatment systems.
