Background The State of North Carolina's Department of Health and Human Services is seeking to procure a 2025 or newer Chrysler Pacifica Select or better equipped with a BraunAbility 10” dropped floor conversion package. The purpose of this solicitation is to identify a vendor capable of providing this vehicle with the necessary modifications to support individuals with disabilities, specifically for the Division of Employment and Independence. Work Details The contract requires the provision of one (1) 2025 or newer Chrysler Pacifica Select or better, featuring: - A BraunAbility 10” lowered floor conversion with a fold-out ramp. - The vehicle must have a minimum odometer mileage of 750 miles or less. - Preferred exterior colors are Charcoal Grey, Black, or White (no Silver, Red, or Blue). - The interior must include standard airbag features and be compatible with the wheelchair specifications provided. - The conversion must include rubberized flooring instead of carpet and meet OEM standards for interior finishes. - The vehicle should accommodate existing wheelchair tie-downs and passenger restraints in the cargo area. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be registered as a North Carolina vendor in good standing. They must provide evidence of authorization from the manufacturer to distribute or resell the products offered.
