The City of Las Vegas seeks qualified, licensed and insured Housing providers for Specialty Court programs and other court needs. The City's goal is to establish and maintain a competitively solicited list of well-qualified, high-value, cost-effective Housing providers to deliver maximum benefit to the recipients. The City will accept Proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) continuously, to maintain a list of contracted Housing providers. The City may award contracts to some or all qualified Offerors who respond to this RFP. Background The City of Las Vegas is seeking qualified, licensed, and insured Housing Services providers to support specialty court programs and other court needs. The objective is to establish a competitively solicited list of high-value, cost-effective housing providers that can deliver maximum benefit to individuals referred through the Court’s Programs Division. The City will continuously accept proposals to maintain this list and may award contracts based on individual participant needs and available funding. Work Details The selected Housing providers will be responsible for: - Providing furnished residential housing for individuals in recovery, including those with co-occurring conditions. - Conducting regular housing inspections to ensure safety compliance. - Supplying necessary appliances and equipment for daily living, such as furniture and kitchen appliances. - Ensuring timely repairs or replacements of major appliances. - Installing safety equipment like smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. - Maintaining communication with Court staff through a designated contact person. - Discharges must be coordinated with 24 hours' notice unless in emergencies. Desired services include a streamlined rental process, access to owners for updates, billing participant insurance for services, medication management, and providing toiletries. Period of Performance The contract will be performed on an as-needed basis without guaranteed minimum placements, contingent upon the requirements of the Specialty Courts and available funding. Place of Performance Services will be provided within the jurisdiction of Las Vegas, Nevada. Bidder Requirements Offerors must accept payments from the Las Vegas Municipal Court for referred tenants and maintain appropriate local business licenses and insurance coverage. They must also comply with any additional licensing required by state or county regulations related to proposed wraparound services.
