Mescalero Adult Detention Center FI&R

Background

The Department of the Interior (DOI), Indian Affairs (IA) is issuing a solicitation for a Design/Build Construction Contract aimed at completing the Mescalero Adult Detention Center on the Mescalero Apache Reservation. The goal of this contract is to bring the facility to full and functional completion through various Facility Improvements & Repair (FI&R;) activities.

Work Details

The work includes design, construction, installation, and demolition tasks necessary to complete the Adult Detention Center. The project will encompass a range of construction activities that fall under Facility Improvements & Repair (FI&R;). The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $500,000 and $800,000.

Period of Performance

The anticipated period of performance for the contract is one hundred twenty (120) days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The construction projects will be performed at the Mescalero Adult Detention Center located at 386 Sawmill Dr., Mescalero, NM 88340.
