Background The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) is seeking vendors to assist with On-Site Physical Inspection Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with housing standards and regulations, thereby supporting the mission of the IHDA to promote affordable housing in Illinois. Work Details The selected vendor will provide comprehensive on-site physical inspection services, which include but are not limited to: conducting inspections of residential properties to assess compliance with applicable housing quality standards; preparing detailed reports on inspection findings; coordinating with IHDA staff and other stakeholders; and ensuring timely communication regarding inspection results. The vendor must adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations during the inspection process. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the date of award, with potential extensions based on performance and funding availability. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various residential properties throughout the State of Illinois as designated by the IHDA. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be certified under the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) or Veterans Business Program (VBP). They are required to submit a Utilization Plan demonstrating their commitment to utilizing BEP/VBP certified subcontractors. Bidders must also comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding inspections and reporting.
