The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure services on a competitive basis to support the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) mission of sustaining current readiness and advancing future warfighting capabilities at the best possible cost. The Government is requesting capabilities statements to determine any and all offers capable of meting the requirement. Please see attached Sources Sought document for full details. Background The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), located in Patuxent River, MD, is seeking to procure services competitively to support the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE). The mission of the NAE is to sustain current readiness and advance future warfighting capabilities at optimal costs. This Sources Sought notice serves as a market research tool to identify potential and eligible firms capable of providing the required services prior to the issuance of a solicitation. The results will also help determine if Small Business Set-Aside opportunities exist. Work Details The contract will involve supporting the NAE mission with a focus on sustaining readiness and enhancing warfighting capabilities. Key tasks include: - Providing personnel with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), including experience in applying both commercial and government AI technologies. - Designing, developing, tuning, and deploying AI models and related components tailored to mission requirements. - Meeting security clearance requirements for personnel and adhering to facility requirements as specified in the Draft SOW. - Addressing any special requirements or certifications necessary for contract performance. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from August 9, 2027, to August 8, 2032. Place of Performance The primary work location will be detailed in the Draft SOW.
