Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to procure a Thyroid Uptake System for the Orlando VA Healthcare System. The goal of this contract is to enhance the capabilities of the healthcare system in providing accurate thyroid diagnostics and treatment monitoring, thereby improving patient care and operational efficiency. Work Details The contract includes the following items to be delivered: 1. Thyroid Uptake System with 2" well - 1 unit 2. Neck Phantom - 1 unit (Local Stock Number: 5230-0038) 3. CAP DICOM Interfacing - 1 unit (Local Stock Number: 5430-00007) 4. Training - 1 unit (Local Stock Number: TRAINING) 5. Premier Support Contract (12 months coverage) - 1 unit (Local Stock Number: 9501-0072) 6. Test Tubes for Well Wipes - 1 unit (Local Stock Number: 5420-0090) Specifications include: - The well counter must have a minimum thickness of one inch of lead. - The thyroid probe must be adjustable in height and fully articulating with a vertical range of 34" and a probe rotation of 200 degrees. - The thyroid arm must be fully articulated, extending at least 36" horizontally and traveling vertically from 25" to 63". - The system must include an uptake with 2" wells, a Quality Control source holder for both the probe and well, a neck phantom for proper counting, and a monitor that is at least 20". Period of Performance Delivery is expected within 60 days after receipt of order.
