Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arizona State Office, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of services to provide mechanical thinning of mesquite trees at the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area (LCNCA) Airstrip area in Pima County, Arizona. The goal of this contract is to manage and improve natural resources by thinning approximately 719 acres of mesquite trees, thereby enhancing the ecological health of the area. Work Details The contractor will perform mechanical thinning on approximately 719 acres of mesquite trees located in the LCNCA Airstrip allotment. The work includes the following tasks: - Conducting mechanical thinning operations as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) and associated maps. - Ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations and guidelines during the thinning process. - Providing all necessary equipment and labor to complete the task effectively. - Delivering a report detailing the work completed and any observations regarding the ecological condition post-thinning. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from February 16, 2026, to February 15, 2027. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area, Airstrip allotment, located in Pima County, Arizona.
