Background The Department of State Hospitals - Metropolitan is seeking bids for Automotive Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services for its vehicles. The aim is to ensure that the DSH - Metropolitan vehicles, which include models from Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, and Toyota, are maintained and repaired effectively. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, tools, supplies, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for these services. Work Details The contractor shall supply all personnel and resources necessary to diagnose and repair various complex automotive issues. Services include but are not limited to: 1. Preventative maintenance and repair on vehicles ranging from 10 years old to current models. 2. Specific repairs may include alignment, body and fender work, painting, and electrical repairs. 3. The contractor must not use subcontractors for this service. 4. All work must comply with the security provisions applicable on state hospital grounds. Period of Performance The anticipated term of the agreement is from February 23, 2026, through February 22, 2028. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the Department of State Hospitals - Metropolitan located at 11401 S. Bloomfield Ave., Norwalk, CA 90650. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide proof of their legal right to do business in California and must be an Approved Auto Repair Facility with the California Department of General Services’ Office of Fleet and Asset Management. Bidders must also certify that they can provide services within 10 miles of DSH - Metropolitan. Additionally, bidders must submit three references from customers for similar services provided in the past two years.
