The School of Medicine at Oakland University is seeking proposals to upgrade audiovisual capabilities in two lecture halls to enhance instructional technology and support modern learning environments. Work Details The project involves upgrading Rooms 203 and 204 in O’Dowd Hall with the following tasks: 1. Installation of new audiovisual equipment including boundary microphones (Audio-Technica ATND971A), Tesira SERVER-IQ AVB audio controllers, and Crestron NVX technology for digital media systems. 2. Integration of existing owner-furnished equipment such as instructor Mac computers, document cameras, and Apple TVs into the new system. 3. Installation of additional network drops as identified by the contractor. 4. Removal of obsolete equipment for disposal by the university. 5. Programming of audio systems to ensure proper routing and control via Crestron touch panels, including mix-minus configurations for microphones and camera controls. Period of Performance The contract performance period will commence upon award and is expected to follow a detailed project schedule with major milestones leading to completion by the specified deadlines outlined in the RFP. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Oakland University's O’Dowd Hall, located at 486 Pioneer Drive, Rochester, Michigan. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide proof of relevant experience in audiovisual integration projects, proper licensing, and insurance as specified in Schedule B of the RFP. Additionally, bidders must submit a signed copy of the RFP indicating agreement with all terms and conditions.
