Background The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for construction services. The goal of this contract is to increase surgical access by constructing additional operating rooms and support facilities at the Central VA Health Care System in Richmond, Virginia. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. Work Details The contractor will perform all professional services necessary for the construction of additional Operating Rooms (OR) and support rooms at RIMVAC. This includes: preparing the site for building operations, demolition/removal of existing structures, and furnishing labor and materials as needed to perform the work required by the drawings and specifications.
