Background The Village of Schaumburg, IL is seeking proposals for the CCTV Server Upgrades project (2025-RFP-082) to enhance its existing surveillance infrastructure. The Village serves as a significant economic hub in Illinois, with a diverse range of businesses and a large daytime population. The goal of this contract is to upgrade and replace 22 IP-based CCTV servers that are integral to the Village's security operations, ensuring compatibility with the existing Genetec V5.13 software system. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for replacing 22 existing servers as specified in Schedule S of the RFP. The new servers must be fully compatible with Genetec V5.13 software and meet or exceed the specifications of the current servers. Specific tasks include: 1. Disconnection and removal of old hardware. 2. Installation of new servers in existing enclosures or new NEMA enclosures as required. 3. Reconnection of existing cameras to new hardware and verification of camera feeds in Genetec software. 4. Updating IP configuration information on all servers as indicated in Schedule S. 5. Providing weekly updates on project progress. 6. Optionally, providing turn-key pricing for replacing an existing PTZ camera at a specified location with an Axis P3735-PLE Fixed 8MP multi-sensor camera. Period of Performance The project is expected to commence upon contract award and must be completed by February 20, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various locations within the Village of Schaumburg, IL, as detailed in the provided documentation. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate expertise in configuring CCTV servers utilizing Genetec software and have experience working with local government municipalities or similar projects. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage including General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and any other necessary insurance as specified in the RFP.
