Background

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically the Saint Cloud Health Care System (SCHCS) and the Saint Cloud VA Medical Center, is planning to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a construction project aimed at repainting the water tower at their facility in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. This initiative aligns with the VA's mission to provide high-quality care to veterans. The contract will be awarded as a single, firm fixed-price agreement. Work Details: The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the project. Specific tasks include: 1) Tenting and containing all hazardous silica and paint debris; 2) Spot sandblasting all exterior components to near white metal; 3) Applying a prime coat, base coat, and finish coat of paint to the exterior of the water tower; 4) Restoring the historic color white with blue 'VA' on the four compass points.
