Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, under the Department of the Interior (DOI), is initiating a land appraisal for the Gaston & Hoodempyle Land Exchanges. The goal of this contract is to provide a market valuation and appraisal report for an agreement to initiate land exchanges involving specific non-federal and federal tracts of land in Oregon. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for conducting a market valuation and preparing an appraisal report for the following tracts: 1) WAP Tract (3), a Non-Federal Tract consisting of a 0.10-acre portion along with easement rights held by the City of Gaston over a 0.50-acre portion, in exchange for a 0.40-acre portion of WAP Tract (719XL), which is currently held under FWS ownership; 2) WAP Tract (720), a Non-Federal Tract consisting of a 31-acre tract, in exchange for a yet-to-be-determined portion of WAP Tract (717XL), also under FWS ownership. The appraiser must identify and analyze the properties located in Washington County and Yamhill County, Oregon, including their respective tax lot identifiers. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe that aligns with the requirements set forth in the solicitation. Place of Performance The appraisal services will be performed in Washington County and Yamhill County, Oregon.
