Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to acquire new medical equipment to support the activation of a new Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Elko, Nevada. The goal of this contract is to expand clinical services to veterans in the area by providing necessary exam tables that meet specific requirements outlined by Biomedical Engineering and Primary Care representatives. The project emphasizes the need for timely delivery and installation of these exam tables to facilitate the clinic's operational readiness. Work Details The contract involves the purchase of six (6) Midmark 626 exam tables or equivalent models. The specifications for these exam tables include: - Clean assist roller system for mobility - Active Sensing Technology that halts movement if obstructed - Hand and foot controls, along with stirrups - Pelvic tilt capability of 5.5 degrees - Armrests included - Minimum weight capacity of 650 lbs - Height adjustment range from 14.6 inches (compressed) to 37 inches (high) - Dimensions: 28 inches wide x 60 inches long, extending to 76 inches with footrest - Heated drawer with temperature control between 92°F and 112°F - Paper roll holder compatible with 24-inch rolls - Electrical receptacles with a draw of 4A, tamper-resistant and hospital-grade on both sides - Compliance with ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1:2005+A2 (R2012) +A1 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-1:14 standards.
