This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice to obtain market information and determine appropriate strategies to meet the Agency's requirements. This sources sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes, does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 10, California Great Basin, Division of Acquisitions, Supply and Services Branch, is seeking interested vendors for Lost River Noxious Weed Abatement. The work is to begin March 1, 2025 for a base year with four one-year options. Additional details regarding the efforts are provided in the attached draft Performance Work Statement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 561730, Landscaping Services, with a small business size standard of 9.5 million dollars. This notice is to assist the Bureau of Reclamation in determining potential sources only. Background The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 10, California Great Basin, Division of Acquisitions, Supply and Services Branch, is seeking interested vendors for Lost River Noxious Weed Abatement. The purpose of this project is to prevent and reduce the economic, environmental, and social impacts of noxious weeds on Federal lands and rights-of-way within the Klamath Project, specifically along the Lost River and Miller Creek in Klamath County, Oregon. The contract aims to suppress the expansion and potentially eliminate noxious weeds in these areas. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for noxious weed abatement. Key tasks include: 1) Developing a Work Plan detailing how and when work will be performed to achieve maximum benefit for weed control; 2) Safely applying herbicides to noxious weeds at optimum times; 3) Providing a year-end report summarizing progress made for each area and pesticide usage; 4) Taking geo-tagged photographs of treated areas before and after treatment; 5) Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations including ESA, NEPA, and Clean Water Act; 6) Providing licensed pesticide applicators with appropriate supervision ratios; 7) Submitting documentation such as pesticide labels and Safety Data Sheets prior to work commencement; 8) Maintaining communication with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) throughout the contract period.
